Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association is the voice of and for Sacramento Trial Attorneys. Founded in the early 1950s to create a meaningful source of information about Sacramento juries, CCTLA has grown into an effective guild of trial advocates. CCTLA serves its members as liason to the courts, as providers of meaningful continuing legal education, as a network of the exchange of ideas and experiences and as a representative to Consumer Attorneys of California.

If you are not a member, please consider the following reasons as to why you should join CCTLA:

SHARPEN YOUR ADVOCACY SKILLS

Stay on top of the law and local trial practice strategy through CCTLA's publication "The Litigator." Monthly "Problem Solving Clinics" are conducted by experienced senior trial attorneys in an informal atmosphere. In-depth seminars provide concrete training on subjects of widespread concern and basic trial skills. CCTLA sponsors frequent luncheons featuring topical speakers and an opportunity to become personally acquainted with other members of the local bar and judiciary.

JOIN US AND BELONG

Join forces with your fellow trial lawyers and keep yourself informed of what is happening locally in your profession. Make your voice heard for judicial change and improvement and be a part of educating the public about what we attorneys really do to improve society. Your membership benefits include a subscription to "The Litigator" magazine, list serve, reduced fees for CCTLA seminars and publications and participation in "Problem Solving Clinics," which are limited to members only. Membership makes you a part of that Association that knows your needs and represents your views.

NETWORK TO EXPAND YOUR RESOURCES

Whatever the circumstances of your practice, it may seem to work in concentric circles. Networking with other members of the Association provides opportunities to broaden your imagination and learn of previously unknown resources: the expert never heard of, the trial technique not thought of, the system that only years of practice can develop.
